Education for Life
The Education for Life Partnership is supported by external partners with membership drawn from schools, colleges, universities, the voluntary sector and the careers companies.
Objectives
Objective 16
Develop learning opportunities for all ages and abilities with an emphasis on community based opportunities
Objective 17
Ensure children and young people have a foundation that enables them to take advantage of all life opportunities
Objective 18
Enhance education and training opportunities for 14-19 year olds and improve standards
Objective 19
Provide advice and information on all public and voluntary sector services
Objective 20
Raise awareness and use of the welsh language
Objective 21
Increase appreciation of environmental assets and utilise their potential for enhanced quality of life and sustainable tourism opportunities

Address pollution and encourage waste minimisation, reuse and recycling of resources

Increase opportunities for and participation in leisure, sport, cultural and arts activities
Priorities for the next four years
Develop strategies which supports the concept of Community Focussed Schools;
- Ensure all learning settings meet current and known future requirements and facilitate learning in 21st Century
- And for removing barriers to learning with a focus on Literacy and Numeracy.
