“A picture paints a thousand words”
One of the advantages of this ‘digital age’ is that is offers many people the chance to share their stories and experiences with others in a simple and more engaging way. Many people and organisations make short digital stories, films or animations to explain how a particular issue or problem has impacted on them. In doing so they feel that their voices have been heard or that they are helping others by sharing their experience.
The stories below have been taken from a range of websites. We think you may find these stories helpful and informative.

Lewis's story - Being a Youth Forum Rep!
Lewis is 12 years old and has been a rep on the youth forum for the past 12 month. This digital story tells of the experiences he has had, the projects he has been involved with and the friends he has made along the way.
At the 2010 Caerphilly Youth Forum Conference the priority issue voted for by the young people was that they wanted to raise awareness of the issue of peer pressure with relation to drugs and alcohol. The group worked closely with a company called “Theatre Fforwm” to do this production. Everyone attending had the opportunity to get involved and participate.
