Forest Drive
Forest Drive
Cwmcarn Forest Drive, run by Forestry Commission Wales, is a seven mile long scenic route through the rolling hills and green mountains of one the country's largest urban forests.
As you meander around twisting bends, the enchanting forest immerses you into tranquillity where you can truly leave the rest of the world behind. Park up at one of the seven car parks to absorb the breathtaking views or settle at one of the many picnic and BBQ spots to relax and take it easy. Let the children burn off some energy in the play area at car park 3, or follow the trail of magical woodcarvings.
Inclement Weather
Please note that the Drive may be closed in adverse weather conditions - eg high winds, poor visibilty, snow and ice. You are advised to contact the centre before your journey.
