Location

The Flower Festival takes place in various churches and venues around Caerphilly town centre.

Directions

Exit Junction 32 of M4, take the A470 then A468 and follow the signs for Caerphilly. Please refer to the map and enter your starting post code.

Public Transport

Parking

There are a number of Car Parks located around the town centre, parking available includes Twyn Car Park, Crescent Road car park and Caerphilly Railway Station park and ride.

Coach Parking

The town's main coach park is located off Crescent Road, which is a 5 minute walk from the central event site. If you would like to book a coach into the event please complete our coach booking form (PDF 34k) and return it to events@caerphilly.gov.uk or post it to:-

Toilets

Toilets are available near Caerphilly railway station at the top end of town and below the Visit Caerphilly centre at the lower end of the town centre.

Disabled access

Access to the venues is good. Please see each venue for specific details on disabled access. Caerphilly Visitor Centre has lift access for the two floors.

Eating Out

The town centre is host to a number of high quality public houses, cafes and fast food outlets.

If you would prefer to bring your own food to the event, take advantage of the picnic area in Dafydd Willaims Park which is located to the side of Caerphilly Castle. The area offers the ideal spot to sit back, relax and enjoy your lunch whilst taking in the spectacular views of the Castle. Other open spaces are located in Morgan Jones Park, which is a short stroll along Crescent Road, as well as the many great spots surrounding Caerphilly Castle. Morgan Jones Park has a lovely children’s play area and splash zone with lots of open spaces for those picnics - pack the children’s costumes and let them have a bit more free fun!
