The event will take place on Friday 5th – Sunday 7th July 2013. On Friday 5th some churches may have limited activities taking place in relation to the refreshments and childrens activities, please check to avoid disapointment.
There will be no open top bus in operation on Friday 5th July.

Open Top Bus Service
A hop on, hop off bus service will run from 10am until 4pm on the Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of the event. Let us take you around the churches to view the displays, whilst also offering you a scenic tour around the outskirts of the magnificent Caerphilly Castle.
The service will operate on a circular route throughout the day,
with a break between 1pm and 1.45pm.

2012 Celebrations and Poetry Display
Bethel will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the new building in the autumn of 2012 and this will be one of the themes together with the Olympics and the Queen's jubilee. We will also take up the theme of poetry.

2012 Celebrations and Poetry Display
The display this year will consist of numerous floral displays relating to scenes of celebrations in the Bible, and numerous displays on current celebrations, including poetry.

There will be an art display in the vestry linked to the theme of Celebrations. There will be hourly poetry readings.

There will be no specific children’s activities however please come in and take part in thechildren’s treasure hunt.

Church Overview
A 2012 Celebrations & Poetry Display. The display will involve the themes of 'Celebration of Life, the Universe and everything'! There will be displays celebrating; the Queen's jubilee, St Andrew's, Penyrheols’ 50th anniversary (one of the churches within the Parish of Caerphilly), and Charles Dickens' bicentenary.

Societies
Located in the Twyn Community Centre, various groups and societies will display their work and achievements. From floral exhibits to photo displays there will be an array of projects on display.

Glyn Deri Bonsai Club
Glyn Deri Bonsai Club will be exhibiting bonsai, demonstrating the creation of Bonsai from yamadori and holding a Bonsai clinic for anyone having problems or needing advice with their trees. Why not bring your bonsai with you for restyling! We will be linking in with the theme of poetry through Japanese poetry in keeping with Bonsai.
Caerphilly Local History Society
The Caerphilly Local History Society will do a static display, floral display; history based power point show and will be available for advice on history. They are particularly keen to assist local schools with any local history projects they plan and will be happy to discuss this with school teachers.
Caerphilly Players
Caerphilly Camera Club
Exhibiting approx 30 prints in the upstairs room of the Twyn Community Centre.
Caerphilly & District Floral Society
At the event there will be a display linked to the theme of the Olympic games.
Horticultural Society
The Caerphilly & District Horticultural society will have flower and plant displays, one of which will be of interest to children. There will be plants, books and magazines for sale.
