Textiles Recycling

Almost anything made of fabric can be Reused
if they are in good condition or Recycled into
new products if they are damaged.

Where can I recycle?

The council does not collect textiles as part of the weekly recycling
service but clothing banks are available at our
Household Waste Recycling Centres.

We also have facilities to recycle textiles at some of our Bring Sites (mini recycling sites).  Please follow the below link to find out where you can take your old textiles.

Bring Sites

You could also take the clothing along to your local charity shop.

Also, you may have noticed that charities will often post
a charity bag through your letterbox.

Just get your parents to check that the charity is official.
