Swimming

There's something for everyone at Newbridge Leisure Centre. You can swim for fitness, for leisure or fun. Our leisure pool has a water flume ride, tropical beach area, bubble pool, mushroom fountain, a pirate ship and water canon - ahoy there me hearties!! A wide range of activities are available in the pool including Parent & Toddler sessions, Swimming Courses and Aquafit for the over 60.

Reception update

The Reception project is on track to be completed by the 17^th June. The refurbishment of the Reception, surrounding areas, and the addition of a new accessible / family changing room should help to make visits far more enjoyable.

Swimming Pool update

The decision to close the pool and do a complete re-tile was a difficult decision because the pool is extremely well supported. We understand that our customers are frustrated at the temporary loss of this great facility. We can assure everyone that we are doing everything within our power to complete the work as soon as possible, however, we also need to ensure the work is done correctly, so we can ensure we don’t have another incident for the next 15 years. Numerous other projects in the pool area are being completed whilst the pool is shut to minimise any future disruptions.

Being part of a larger group allows members to access other pools across the Borough. Pool timetables are available to be viewed at your.caerphilly.gov.uk/leisurelifestyle.

Classes are also a great way to stay in shape whilst the pool is closed. Newbridge offer a fitness class every evening and there are hundreds of classes throughout the other 11 CCBC leisure centres every week. Information on the classes is also available on the website above.
