Welcome to Llancaiach Fawr
Llancaiach Fawr Manor stands proudly, as it has done since c1550, overlooking the Glamorgan Uplands. Step inside the Manor House restored and furnished as it would have been in 1645. All the furnishings in the rooms are accurate reproductions of items from the time of the Prichards.
Your visit in 2014
Lots will happening at the Manor in 2014. Conservation work, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Cadw will be taking place in phases throughout the year. The majority of the Manor will remain open for tours, and visitors will be able to observe works and take part in activities.
Heritage Lottery Fund awards £943,000 to Llancaiach Fawr
A Grade I listed* Tudor Mansion and popular visitor attraction in Nelson near Caerphilly has been awarded £943,200 from the Heritage Lottery Fund, to see its hidden attic, a former Servant Quarters, opened up to the public for the very first time.
