Mourn a passing

Llancaiach Fawr conservatory

The stout stone walls of Llancaiach Fawr Manor have stood firm since 1530 and seen the deaths of many occupants.  Set in peaceful, rural surroundings it has been a tranquil and unchanging background to the history and heritage of the area.

Today, the Manor House continues to portray life in the 17th century while it is the Visitor Centre which provides the 21st century venue and services appropriate for mourning a passing and celebrating a life.

Victoria Scullin, Functions Manager, will be pleased to help you with your requirements.  Please telephone 01443 412248 for any enquiries.

"As Mayor of Caerphilly County Borough Council 2011/2012, I held my Civic Carol Service at Llancaiach Fawr Manor in December 2011 and had a fabulous evening.  The venue was perfect, full of festive atmosphere with the Christmas Tree and ceiling lights.  It was a resoounding success, with over 200 people joining together in community spirit.  The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, from our initial meeting to discuss the arrangements right through to providing extra seating on the night.  I would highly recommend using Llancaiach fawr."
