PLEASE NOTE: Admission to the Visitor Centre shop, café/ restaurant, exhibition and gardens is free but for some Special Events in the Barn, Education Centre, Courtyard or on the Meadow a small fee may be payable to cover materials or extra activities.

School rates

Tour of the Manor and use of Visitor Centre services costs £5.50 per child/student. Workshops can be arranged for an extra £2 per head. Day Packages cost £10 per head. (see Education & Learning Schools and Vocational/Adult for more information.)

Opening Times

Tuesday to Sunday 10am - 5pm from January to Christmas.

CLOSED MONDAYS (except Bank Holidays).

Last admission to the house is 1 hour before closing. Please allow at least 1½ hours to see the house and additional time to view the gardens and exhibition.

Closed from 24th December 2011 to 2nd January 2012 inclusive. Re-open 3rd January 2012.

Photography

Please note that NO PHOTOGRAPHY of any kind is permitted inside the Manor House. Photographs may be taken in the gardens and Visitor Centre.

Visitor facilities

Car and coach parking is free of charge.

Dogs/Pets

We regret that dogs and pets are not allowed in the Manor or formal gardens. Guide dogs excepted.

Public transport

Bus travel - there are 2 routes serving Llancaiach Fawr and both stop at the bus shelters outside the main entrance.

Mondays to Saturdays, hourly.
Connections available with route X4 to/from Cardiff
