During the period 2011/12, our team of Community Safety Wardens have carried out 45,864 miles of patrols within the Caerphilly County Borough.
They have also visited a total of 4,478 ‘hotspot’ locations and attended a total of 149 community meetings.
Our CCTV operators monitor 145 cameras throughout the county borough 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Over the same period 37, 582 Community Payback hours have been carried out within Caerphilly County Borough.

The Junior Warden scheme is a programme run in schools for year 4 pupils funded by Safer Caerphilly Community Safety Partnership. The scheme is designed to raise awareness of the environment, the local community and to promote an understanding of the positive benefits of the Community Safety Wardens scheme.
