The Winding House is delighted to be a venue for courses run by the Universities of the Heads of the Valleys Institute (UHOVI) a partnership between the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales, Newport.

The Winding House exists to represent the whole of Caerphilly County Borough. We are keen to support local history and heritage groups, by offering advice or guidance, or by providing a venue for meetings.   See our Functions page for more information about hiring a room at the Winding House.

We also host regular, quarterly "get together" meetings for local history groups within Caerphilly County Borough. See the list below for groups interested in local history and heritage within the County Borough - websites provided where available. The Winding House is not responsible for the content of external websites.
