The Winding House is committed to removing the barriers often associated with traditional museums and heritage sites, which may prevent people making the best use of the services that we offer. People may experience many different barriers to access, such as organisational, physical, sensory, intellectual, cultural and financial and the Winding House will consult with users and non users to identify and tackle as many of these barriers as possible. Access to the museum, its collections and its resources should be available to all.
