Welcome and thank you for visiting the Bedwas, Trethomas and Machen (BTM)Community Council website.

Bedwas, Trethomas and Machen Community Council is located near to Caerphilly town in the south of Caerphilly County Borough.

The Council represents and serves 3 communities in South East Wales: Bedwas, Trethomas and Machen.

There are 12 Community Councillors, 5 representing Machen Ward, 3 for Trethomas Ward and 4 for Bedwas Ward. 

We also keep in touch with residents to help them when they need advice, both individually and collectively, and you can contact your Councillor confidentially through the Office. 

Councillor Surgeries are held regularly at he Council Offices, Newport Road. Contact your local Councillor for current dates. 

The Council grant funds to individual organisations within the community, on the basis that the grant will be of direct benefit to the inhabitants. To apply for a grant please download the application form, complete and return it to the Clerk to the Council.

Built in 1923 using money raised by local miners, the Bedwas Workmen’s Hall has served the needs of the local community for over eighty years.
