Welcome to Llancaiach Fawr

COVID-19 Update

In recent weeks, we have taken a number of precautionary measures to ensure we can provide a safe environment for our customers. However, due to the ongoing spread of the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) and updated Public Health Wales guidelines – we have taken the decision to close Llancaiach Fawr Manor with immediate effect, for the foreseeable future. This is not a decision we have taken lightly but at this time our user’s safety must take priority.

[For cancelled bookings – We will be in touch shortly to give a full refund for the amount paid for your booking.]

[For cancelled performers – I would be extremely grateful if you could regard this as a postponement rather than a cancellation.  We sincerely hope that we can reschedule your performance at a later date.]

Thank you for your support and patience during this challenging time.

The building you see now was built in c1550 for Dafydd ap Richard.

The Manor was designed to be easily defended during the turbulent reigns of Tudor kings and queens and is one of the finest examples of a semi-fortified manor in Wales today.
