New Tredegar Community Council is located at the upper-most part of the Rhymney Valley within the Caerphilly County Borough. There are 13 Community Council seats at present, for details of your local ward member please see our members page.
The Community Council meets regularly on the second Tuesday of the month (except after a Bank Hoilday Monday) at the White Rose Resource Centre, except for the month of August. However please check the meetings calendar or this website for news of any changes or cancellations.
Should you have suggestions for improving the website please contact our clerk.
Current Chair of the Council is currently vacant due to the sad death of Councillor Wendy Woodman. There is also a acancy arising due to the sad death of Councillor David Woodman. Notices if vacancies wil be published in due course. Please check back on the website or the notice board in the Resource centre.

Grants and Donations
The Council considers requests for financial grants and donations from local voluntary organisations or groups, charities, sporting teams and residents subject to terms and conditions.
All requests must be in writing and submitted to your local councillor or sent to the clerk at the addess above. The request must contain details of your request and what the funds are needed for, up to date financial information, accounts or balance sheets of your organisation or other fund raising and be located in or provide services to residents of the New Tredegar Community Council area. Requests should not be submitted in subsequent years. All grants are at the council's discretion.

Appointment of internal auditor
New Tredegar Community Council is seeking to appoint an Internal Auditor to carry out its annual internal audit. Applicants will have experience of local government finance and internal audit.
