The Caerphilly Public Services Board brings public bodies together to work to improve the economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being of Caerphilly County Borough. They are responsible, under the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act, for overseeing the development of the new Local Wellbeing Plan.

There are 5 things that public bodies need to think about to show that they have applied the sustainable development principle. Following these ways of working will help us work together better, avoid repeating past mistakes and tackle some of the long-term challenges we are facing.

Wellbeing Assessment

The Wellbeing Plan for Caerphilly will be based on an assessment of local wellbeing and will have objectives for improving the economic, social, environmental and cultural wellbeing of the area. These will contribute to the seven well-being goals of the Act.

Getting Involved

The Act stresses the importance of involving people with an interest in achieving the wellbeing goals and working in collaboration to meet the objectives of the Wellbeing Plan. There are a number of ways you can get involved.
