Coaching

Coaches are often described as the lifeblood of sport and is so rewarding whether it is voluntary or as a paid professional.

How to get involved/become a volunteer

Volunteers really are the lifeblood of sport and provide motivation and inspiration for participants. They play a vital role in organising community clubs, schools sports, team sports sessions and coaching sessions.

Volunteering is a rewarding and satisfying way to give back to your community and everyone who volunteers for Sport Caerphilly is making a difference by encouraging people to live healthier and more active lives.

For more information about volunteering please contact the Sport Caerphilly team on 01495 235367 or via contact us.

Coaches of the Future

The programme runs for two years and the young people selected have the opportunity to gain coaching qualifications, including the Level 2 Sports Leaders and sport specific Level 1 Qualifications.

The scheme is for elite level coaches who have shown commitment and dedication when volunteering as coaches with Sport Caerphilly in their school as a Sport Leader or Young Ambassador.
